School counselors are certified/licensed educators with a minimum of a master's degree in school counseling, making them uniquely qualified to address all students’ academic, career and social/emotional development needs. The school counselor develops a comprehensive program based on the school counseling standards from the Florida Frameworks and the ASCA National Model with input from the school and community.  Each school counseling program is data based and designed to meet the unique needs of the school population. 


Services are offered to students at RCSAM include  

  • Small group counseling 
  • Classroom-based counseling  
  • Individual counseling
